Built By People Who Know This Industry.

Why MxP Exists

The Coaching Got Them Moving.
The System Keeps It Running.

Since 2008, Brad and Jason have worked with more than 10,000 fitness professionals through Trainer HQ. The coaching works. Trainers come out of it knowing what to build, what to charge, and how to run a business that pays them properly instead of running them into the ground.

What changed underneath everyone was the technology. Over the last decade the systems available to a small business have moved a long way. CRM that holds every lead in one place. Automation that follows up without being told. AI that can answer an enquiry at ten at night while you are asleep.

Most trainers have not come along for the ride. They have invested in their skills, their qualifications and their coaching, and left the business system running on a spreadsheet, a notes app and a good memory. Not because they do not care. Because nobody set the system up for them, and there is only so much you can build between sessions.

The gap is not knowledge any more. It is the system that carries it.

That is where MxP comes in. Great business coaching gives an owner the plan. A proper business system makes sure the plan still happens on the day they are flat out on the gym floor: every enquiry captured, every follow-up sent, every booking confirmed, every lapsed client asked back.

MxP is those two halves brought together. Brad and Jason bring close to two decades of business coaching in the fitness industry through Trainer HQ. John brings the business systems, automation and AI. One gives you the plan. The other is the engine that runs it.

We are straight about what that means. We set the foundations and we onboard you. You do the work to run it. The system performs when the owner does. That has been true from day one, and we would rather say it up front than sell you something we are not.

The People Behind It

Three Owners.
Two Sides Of The Same Job.

Brad Sheppard, co-owner of MxP

Brad Sheppard

Co-Owner

Brad has spent since 2008 teaching personal trainers how to build a business that actually pays them. He is co-founder of Trainer HQ, Australia's largest business coaching and mentoring program for personal trainers, and has taught thousands of trainers internationally how to earn a six-figure income working 20 hours a week or less.

He co-wrote the best-selling A Personal Trainer's Guide to Wealth Creation and has delivered over 500 live presentations at events including Filex, Network and PT Pro. He has also given his time to the REPS council of Fitness Australia, pushing for a more professional fitness industry.

Brad lives in Brisbane with his wife and two kids.

Jason Urbanowicz, co-owner of MxP

Jason Urbanowicz

Co-Owner

Jason knows the hard end of this industry because he lived it. As a personal trainer he was earning $17,000 to $20,000 a year and going nowhere. Then he changed how he ran the business. Inside twelve months he was earning over $120,000 on 20 hours a week, and he more than doubled that again the following year.

He went on to become a partner in a multi-million dollar personal development company, then joined forces with Brad to co-found Trainer HQ. He is the co-author of two best-selling books and speaks internationally.

He has seen the same frustration in trainers everywhere: great with clients, stuck on the business side.

John Bellamy, co-owner of MxP

John Bellamy

Co-Owner, Systems & AI

John has been working with business owners since 1999. He has spoken on stages across Australia, New Zealand, the USA, the UK and Japan on business systems, marketing automation and AI, and has spent those years building systems inside real businesses rather than talking theory.

He has installed CRM, automation and AI inside hundreds of service businesses, many of them in fitness. The pattern was always the same: good owners doing good work, held back by follow-up that ran on memory.

John brings that side to MxP: the platform, the workflows, the automations and the AI that sit underneath the coaching and make sure the plan actually runs.

How We Work

What We Stand On.

01

People Before Software

The platform matters less than whether you actually use it. Every decision starts with whether it makes your week easier, not whether it looks clever in a demo.

02

Say The Hard Thing

We tell you what MxP does and what it does not. We set the foundations. You run it. We will not dress that up as done-for-you, because it isn't.

03

Foundations, Then Reps

We build the foundations with you, then you show up and run them. Consistency beats cleverness every time. The system works when the owner does.

04

Nothing Leaks

Every lead followed up, every booking confirmed, every review asked for, every lapsed client re-engaged. That is the standard we build to.
